Maisie Filler leads the way with a T16 finish in Venice as six tour members punch their tickets to Mobile
DALLAS, Texas — Six ANNIKA Women's All Pro Tour members will compete for 2027 LPGA Tour membership after advancing through the Qualifying Stage of the 2026 LPGA Q-Series, which concluded Friday at Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, FL. Maisie Filler, Milagros Chaves, Claire Vermette, Maria Bohorquez, Tiffany Le and Kate Villegas all finished inside the top 55 and ties to earn spots in the Final Qualifying Stage, November 19-23 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, AL.
The 198-player field played 72 holes across Plantation's Bobcat and Panther courses, and the advancement line fell at 1-under 287. The event was originally scheduled for October 13-16 but was postponed after heavy rain left the course unplayable.
Filler, who earned an automatic spot in the Qualifying Stage as a top-five finisher in the Callaway Race to Qualifying, was the tour's top finisher. She opened 72-68-70 to put herself firmly inside the number and closed with an even-par 72 to finish at 6-under 282, tied for 16th.
Chaves and Vermette finished tied for 26th at 4-under 284. Chaves produced one of the week's best turnarounds, bouncing back from an opening 79 with rounds of 68, 67 and 70. Vermette was steady all week, never shooting higher than 72 on her way to a 70-72-70-72 card.
Bohorquez and Le tied for 35th at 3-under 285, continuing strong fall runs for both players. Le, the medalist at Pre-Qualifying in Indian Wells, recovered from an opening 75 with a second-round 68. Bohorquez, the runner-up at Pre-Qualifying at LPGA International, closed with a 2-under 70 to secure her spot.
Villegas, who joined Filler as an automatic qualifier through the Callaway Race to Qualifying, finished tied for 42nd at 2-under 286. She never shot higher than 72, posting rounds of 71-72-72-71 to stay inside the number all week.
Juniper Jang and Maria Fassi shared medalist honors at 13-under 275, one stroke ahead of Wenbo Liu.
The Final Qualifying Stage is a 90-hole competition over Magnolia Grove's Falls and Crossings courses, with a cut after 72 holes. The top 25 and ties will earn LPGA Tour membership for the 2027 season.
