ANNIKA WAPT Field Set | Inaugural Colorado Championship
Denver, CO - The ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour (WAPT) will make its first appearance in Colorado and the Denver metro area for the Colorado Championship at Todd Creek Golf Club. (July 29 - August 1). The inaugural event’s field is set with 130 professional women, including 14 of the top 20 players on the Callaway Race To Qualifying points list.
“We are thrilled with the level of competition coming to Denver for this event,” said Gary DeSarrano, CEO of K&G Sports, founder of the ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour. “The golf fans of Colorado will get the chance to see the next stars of the Epson and LPGA Tours at the Colorado Championship.
The tournament week will kick off with a Pro-Am parings party on Sunday, July 27th at Todd Creek, along with the Pro-Am set for Monday, July 28th.
The Colorado Championship will begin on Tuesday, July 29th and will conclude with a championship finish on Friday, August 1st. The 72-hole tournament will also provide exemptions for the top two finishers into Epson Tour’s Dreams First Bank Charity Classic.
“We are very pleased with the interest from the professionals for our first year event. The level of talent coming to Denver to compete is very exciting, and we hope golf fans in the area will make it out to Todd Creek to watch,” said Mike Meador, Executive Director of the Colorado Championship.

About the Meador’s Masters Foundation
The Meador’s Masters Foundation mission is to help those in need. They have organized relief efforts in Colorado for fire victims, the incomprehensible losses in Maui, hurricane victims on the Gulf Coast as well as multiple trips to poverty-stricken villages in Nicaragua.
