Field Breakdown: 2026 Texarkana Children's Charity Open

Texarkana, Ark. – The ANNIKA Women's All Pro Tour heads to Texarkana Country Club this week for the 2026 Texarkana Children's Charity Open, the tour's tenth event of the season.

Played July 15-18, the championship is one of the few 72-hole events on the 2026 schedule, giving players four rounds to separate themselves on one of the tour's most recognizable venues. Nicknamed “Little Augusta," Texarkana Country Club has become a staple on the ANNIKA WAPT schedule.

With the season entering its second half, every round becomes increasingly important as players continue chasing Callaway Race to Qualifying points, a share of the $55,000 purse, and an exemption into the Epson Tour.

Here are four storylines to watch:

Tillie Claggett

Canada's Tillie Claggett enters the week with plenty of momentum after capturing the FCA Women's Championship earlier this season. Already proven she can close out a victory, Claggett now has an opportunity to establish herself as one of the tour's premier players with a second win. A strong performance in one of the year's longer events would further solidify her position as the season heads toward its stretch run.

Emma Bunch

Fresh off her second victory at Metamora Fields Golf Course, Emma Bunch arrives in Texarkana as one of the most consistent players on tour over the past several weeks. The Denmark native has steadily climbed the leaderboard throughout the summer and now has a chance to take her place at the top of the ANNIKA 20.

Katie Lu

After earning her first victory of the season at Links on the Bayou in April, Katie Lu has continued to remain in the mix throughout the year. Four-round tournaments reward consistency as much as low rounds, and Lu has shown throughout her career that she can stay patient over longer championships. Expect her to once again be in contention entering the weekend.

Mal Fobes

While several players have already broken through for victories this season, Mal Fobes remains one of the most accomplished competitors in the field. The reigning Heritage Classic Tour Championship winner knows how to perform under pressure late in the season, and Texarkana presents another opportunity to remind the field why she has consistently been among the ANNIKA WAPT's top competitors.

Below is a breakdown of the field:

The week’s field comprises 119 players from 13 countries.

The breakdown of the players per country in the field: United States (98), Mexico (5), Indonesia (3), Colombia (2), Finland (2), Myanmar (2), Canada (1), England (1), India (1), Paraguay (1), Peru (1), Scotland (1), Thailand (1).
